The "Safe Schools for All" program provides greater opportunities for diversity and acceptance education in our area schools, with the goal to protect freedom of expression, and to help students develop tools to combat prejudice, discrimination, ignorance, intolerance and harassment. The Safe Schools for All is a peer leadership program that also provides anger management, conflict resolution and peer mediation training.

Area schools will be invited to participate in the program. An evaluation of the school will be conducted by student leaders who will assess the schools level of acceptance for those who are labeled as "different."

Peer leaders will be trained on how to make their schools safer for all students by ending prejudice, intollerance, bullying, name-calling, and violence.
