The Safe Zone Community Coalition meets regularly to set direction for the organization, assist in needs assessment, and leads the development, implementation and evaluation of foundation programs. The Community Coalition is made up of members from the LGBT community in working collaboration with representatives of local service agencies and community organizations, and other individuals who support the LGBT community and the purpose and goals of the SAFE ZONE organization. All coalition members are invited to participate in monthly meetings. Attendance, however, is not mandatory.

Membership in the Community Coalition and participation in the SAFE ZONE ORGANIZATION and sponsored programs is open to all individuals regardless of sexual orientation, gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, or economic status. Although the Safe Zone Foundation primarily serves the residents of Marshfield and Central Wisconsin, membership in the Community Coalition is open to all individuals, even those living outside of our immediate program area. Although we may be divided by distance, we can unite in our common purpose.
